excerpt from a mail i'd sent to someone in winter. its true.

its a pity i couldnt meet up longer.how id love to tell u what im doing here. what my day is like. how i get up after everyone at home leavesthe house only because my work place is 10 mins walk away. how its sucha luxury after the yr and a half of travelling almost 2 hrs to work. how i get gaalis from my faltmates.

how id love to tell u of the people i meet and how not all of them areafter money, women or drink. of how the remaining 95% are. how i have tokeep telling myself that its not a right thing to do inspite of my alterego telling me do all that i like.how sometimes i listen to it. and do what is wrong.

how id love to tell u of the beautiful scenery there is here once im outof London. of how much greenery i see and wish most of India were like that. of how i miss a good ride on my bike. here its either in a car or by public transport which unfortunatly is so good u cant NOT feel like traveling by it. how i miss the slow transition of afternoon to evening and instead have4 pm darkness. how i miss colour.its either black clothes or white skin.

how id love to discuss the way these people respect people and theirprofessions. how a taxi driver is given as much respect as a teacher.how I'd love to tell u ive changed. that being nice is a luxury here. so altho faint niceties i once had exist in me i have become quite mean and cold. i need that to survive. ive learnt the hard way anyways. how ihave more drive and more passion now. how ive def become more modest.(serious!). id love to ask u how uve changed.
